Site Matching Settings

Automated matching allows you to automatically match donations up to a specified amount, encouraging donors to give with the knowledge their gift will be doubled (or more).

How Automated Matching Works

Matching can be configured at two levels:

  • Site Matches — match donations made directly to a specific site (campaign page).
  • Organization Page Matches — match donations made through personal pages under an organization page (network-level). When a donor gives through a personal page that belongs to an organization page, the network match is automatically applied.

When enabled, matching:

  1. Displays match information - Shows donors that their gift will be matched
  2. Tracks match progress - Shows how much of the match has been used
  3. Credits the sponsor - Displays sponsor information on the site
  4. Applies automatically - Matches donations without manual intervention
