Table Column Settings
Customize which columns appear in data tables and their display order. Column settings are saved based on your current filter context.
Accessing Column Settings
- Navigate to any data table (Donations, Contacts, etc.)
- Click the column settings icon in the table toolbar
- The settings dialog opens with two columns
Available vs Visible Columns

| Available Columns | All possible columns for this table type |
| Visible Columns | Columns currently displayed in the table |
Adding Columns
- Find the column in the Available Columns list
- Click Add to move it to visible columns
- The column appears at the bottom of the visible list
Removing Columns
- Find the column in the Visible Columns list
- Click the trash icon to remove it
- The column returns to available columns
Note: Site/Form and Campaign columns cannot be removed. They automatically show or hide based on your active filters.
Reordering Columns
Drag and drop columns in the Visible Columns list to change their order. The table updates to match your new column order.
Column Scope
Settings are saved based on your active filters:

| Organization | That specific organization only |
| No filter | Globally (default view) |
This allows you to have different column layouts for different contexts.
Multi-Instance Columns
Some columns support multiple instances with different configurations:
Tag Groups
Add multiple tag group columns, each showing tags from a different group.
- Click Add Instance next to Tag Group
- Configure which tag group to display
- Repeat for additional tag groups
Custom Fields
Add multiple custom field columns, each showing a different field.
- Click Add Instance next to Custom Field
- Select which custom field to display
- Repeat for additional fields
Saving Settings
Click Save Settings to apply your changes. Settings persist across sessions.
