Campaigns Guide

A campaign can be thought of as a "container" for a fundraising initiative - like a folder that groups your forms, sites, and all resources.

Campaign Structure

Each campaign can contain multiple fundraising components:

Campaign (e.g., "Annual Fund 2025")
├── Forms - Donation, event ticketing, registration, etc.
├── Sites - General fundraising, event sites, peer-to-peer sites, etc.
└── Resources - Donations, pledges, ticket orders, auction items, etc.

Creating a Campaign

  1. Click Create a Campaign from the campaigns list
  2. Choose your fundraising type(s):
    • Crowdfunding - Fundraising sites with goals and progress
    • Peer-to-Peer - Enable supporters to fundraise for you
    • Donation Forms - Streamlined giving forms
    • Ticketing - Event ticket sales
  3. Configure your campaign settings

Campaign Settings

Access settings by clicking the gear icon on any campaign:

  • Sites & Forms - Your fundraising components
  • Payment Processing - Stripe configuration
  • Notifications - Email settings
  • Administration - Archive, clone, or delete

When to Create a New Campaign

Good candidates for separate campaigns:

  • Annual fund drives (one per year)
  • Special events (galas, walks, auctions)
  • Capital campaigns
  • Emergency appeals
  • Peer-to-peer fundraising events

Consider combining when:

  • Activities share the same goal
  • You want unified reporting
  • The initiatives are closely related

Managing Your Campaign List

Archiving

Completed campaigns can be archived to hide them from the main list while preserving all data. Archived campaigns appear in the "Archived" filter.

Groups

Organize campaigns into groups (e.g., "2024 Events", "Annual Giving") for easier filtering.
