Creating Sites

CauseVox supports several types of fundraising sites. This guide covers how to create each type.

Donation Pages

Donation pages are user-friendly, secure, and branded landing pages for your donation form. While the donation form is embedded on the page, you can strategically brand your donation page to create an emotional, memorable experience.

  • Navigation Bar
  • About Content Module
  • Donation Form Module
  • Single-Column Content Module
  • Two-Column Content Module
  • Footer

Setting Up A Donation Page

Site Settings

Step 1: Under Campaigns, select Create Campaign.

Step 2: Select your Site to access the site settings, design and preview.

Step 3: Select the Settings tab and configure:

  • Campaign URL
  • Custom domain
  • Share settings

Site Design

Step 1: Select the Design tab and customize:

  • Set your site's global design defaults (Title, Colors, Fonts, CTA text)
  • Customize the Navigation
  • Customize the Footer
  • Edit Member Portal settings
  • Add Site Modules to the Home Page

Step 2: Preview your donation page by selecting Preview at the top.

Step 3: Enable the Site and Donation Form in the upper right of your Site Settings.

Peer-to-Peer Sites

Peer-to-peer sites enable supporters to create their own fundraising pages under your main campaign.

How It Works

  1. Supporters sign up and create personal pages
  2. They share with their networks
  3. Donations flow to your organization

P2P Tiers

  • Personal Pages: Supporters create personal fundraising pages
  • Team Pages: Supporters form teams with multiple personal pages
  • Organization Pages: Partner organizations create pages under your site

Setting Up P2P

Step 1: Create your campaign and access Site Settings.

Step 2: Enable Peer-to-Peer Fundraising in Settings.

Step 3: Configure default P2P settings:

  • Default page title
  • Media gallery
  • Fundraiser image
  • Recommended funding goal
  • Default appeal
  • Welcome email

Step 4: Optionally add custom fundraiser fields for collecting information like t-shirt size, mailing address, etc.
