Appearance
Audience Contacts
The Contacts tab shows every subscriber in an audience along with their reachability and subscription state.
Stat tiles
Five tiles across the top:
- Total Contacts — every contact in the audience, regardless of state
- Email Reachable — subscribed AND has a valid email AND not bounced/suppressed
- SMS Reachable — subscribed AND has a mobile number AND opted in for SMS
- Unsubscribed — opted out via the unsubscribe link or manual action
- Cleaned — automatically removed because of repeated bounces or extended inactivity
Adding contacts
Click Add Contacts to open the dock. Three methods:
Single Contact
Type one email or phone at a time. Useful for hand-adding VIPs or test subscribers. If the email is already a CRM contact, it's reused; otherwise a new contact is created.
Import CSV
Upload a CSV file with email/name columns. The importer parses the file, validates each row, and reports how many succeeded vs. failed. Use this for bulk-adding subscribers from a sign-up form export, a donor list, or another CRM.
From Segments & Tags
Pull contacts from existing CRM segments or tags. Pick one or more segments/tags and the matching contacts are added to the audience all at once. The preview shows how many would actually be added (excluding duplicates and unreachable contacts).
Removing vs unsubscribing
- Remove — drops the contact from this audience only. Their subscription state elsewhere is untouched.
- Unsubscribe — flips the subscription state to
unsubscribed. The contact stays in the audience but no longer receives broadcasts.
TIP
A contact unsubscribes once and is opted out across all your audiences. Removing a contact from one audience does NOT unsubscribe them — it just hides them from this list.
Filtering and search
Use the status chips to narrow by subscription state. Search by name or email to find a specific person.
