Account Settings
Manage your Member Portal account settings, profile information, and security.
Accessing Account Settings
- Log in to the Member Portal
- Click the profile icon in the upper right
- Navigate to User Information
Profile Information
Update Profile Photo
- Go to User Information
- Click on your profile photo
- Upload a new image
- Save
Your profile photo appears on your fundraising pages and in the portal.
Update Display Name
- Go to User Information
- Edit the Name fields
- Save changes
This updates your account name, not individual donation display names.
Update Email Address
- Go to User Information
- Click Change Email
- Enter your new email address
- Verify the new email via confirmation link
Note: You'll need to use the new email to log in after changing it.
Security
Change Password
- Go to User Information
- Click Change Password
- Enter your current password
- Enter your new password
- Confirm the new password
- Save
Password Requirements
- Minimum 8 characters
- Mix of letters and numbers recommended
- Avoid easily guessed passwords
Forgot Password
If you can't log in:
- Go to the login page
- Click Forgot Password
- Enter your email address
- Check your email for a reset link
- Click the link and create a new password
Account Activity
View All Organizations
The Member Portal connects to all CauseVox organizations where you've:
- Made donations
- Created fundraising pages
- Signed up as a supporter
Switch between organizations using the site selector in your dashboard.
Global Activity
View aggregate activity across all organizations:

Data and Privacy
What Information is Stored
Your account stores:
- Name and email
- Profile photo
- Donation history
- Fundraising page content
- Payment methods (securely tokenized)
Requesting Data
Contact the organization or support@causevox.com to request:
- Export of your donation history
- Information about how your data is used
Data Security
- Payment information is tokenized and encrypted
- Portal links are secure and time-limited
- SSL encryption protects all data transfer
Troubleshooting
Can't Log In
- Verify you're using the correct email
- Try Forgot Password to reset
- Check for typos in your password
- Clear browser cache and try again
- Contact support if issues persist
Account Locked
If you've entered incorrect passwords multiple times:
- Wait 15-30 minutes and try again
- Use Forgot Password to reset
- Contact support@causevox.com
Multiple Accounts
If you have multiple email addresses associated with donations:
- Each email has a separate portal account
- Contact the organization to merge donation records
- Use the same email going forward for consolidated access
