Salesforce
Push donation and donor data to Salesforce to create contacts and track giving.
Note: Salesforce requires Zapier's premium plan. Nonprofits can get this free.
Setup Steps
- Create a new Zap with CauseVox as trigger
- Select New Donation as the trigger event
- Test the trigger to pull sample data
- Add Salesforce as the action app
- Select Create Contact as the action
- Connect your Salesforce account

Troubleshooting
Duplicate Records
- Add a filter to check if record already exists
- Use "Update or Create" actions when available
Missing Data
- Test with a real donation that has all fields filled
- Combine "New" and "Update" triggers for complete data
Wrong Campaign Data
- Add a filter step to only process specific campaigns
- Use Campaign Title or Campaign ID as filter criteria
