Appearance
Email Template Editor
The Email Template Editor is the same drag-and-drop builder used in the broadcast Content tab, but scoped to a reusable template instead of a one-time broadcast.
What's different from broadcast Content
- No Subject, From, or Reply-To — those are broadcast-level settings, not template-level.
- No Recipients or Send button — templates aren't sent on their own; they're loaded into broadcasts.
- No tracking — opens, clicks, and bounces are tracked at the broadcast level. Templates have no per-template stats.
Design mode
Identical to broadcast Content design mode:
- Rows — horizontal sections you drag onto the canvas. Pick from single column, two-column, three-column, etc.
- Blocks — content placed inside rows: text, image, button, divider, spacer, social icons, footer.
- Properties panel — click a row or block to edit padding, alignment, colors, links, etc. on the right side.
Preview mode
Toggle to Preview to see how the template renders. Switch between Desktop and Mobile viewports.
WARNING
The preview is an approximate render. Real inboxes (Gmail, Outlook, Apple Mail) apply their own styles. Always test by loading the template into a broadcast and using Send Test before relying on it.
Saving
Changes are saved manually — click Save in the top bar. There's no autosave, so save often when iterating.
Editing the template name
Click the pencil icon next to the template name in the top bar to rename.
Loading another template
Use Load Template to import another template's content into the editor. This replaces what's on the canvas, so do it before making custom changes.
