Auction Site Settings

Configure auction functionality for your site including bidding options, dates, payment methods, and fulfillment receipts.

Accessing Auction Settings

  1. Go to your Campaign
  2. Select your Site
  3. Click Settings > Auctions

General Auction Settings

Enable Auctions

Show or hide all auction functionality on your site.

  1. Go to Auctions > General
  2. Toggle Enable Auctions
  3. Save changes

Enable Bidding

Control whether visitors can place bids.

  1. Go to Auctions > General
  2. Toggle Enable Auction Bidding
  3. Save changes

When disabled, bid buttons are hidden but auction items remain visible.

Auction Start Date

Set when your auction opens for bidding.

  1. Go to Auctions > General
  2. Toggle Set a start date for the auction
  3. Select the date and time
  4. Save changes

Auction End Date

Set when your auction closes.

  1. Go to Auctions > General
  2. Select the Auction End Date and time
  3. Save changes

Note: Times are in UTC. See our support article for time zone information.

In-Person Auction Mode

Configure settings for live, on-site auctions.

  1. Go to Auctions > General
  2. Toggle Enable In-Person Auctions
  3. Save changes

When enabled, bidders must be pre-registered before placing bids. This is ideal for live auction events where you register bidders on-site.

Portal Bidder Registration

Allow users to register as bidders from their portal.

  1. Go to Auctions > General
  2. Toggle Enable Portal Bidder Registration
  3. Save changes

Combined with in-person mode, this allows users to register themselves ahead of your event.

Initial Item Number

Set the starting number for auction item numbering.

  1. Go to Auctions > General
  2. Enter the Initial Item Number (e.g., 1000)
  3. Save changes

New items are numbered sequentially from this value or the next available number, whichever is higher.

Payment Method Options

Configure which payment options are available to bidders.

OptionDescription
Both OptionsBidders can choose no payment method or save a card
No Method Required OnlyBidders don't need to provide payment upfront
Save Card OnlyBidders must save a card before bidding

Fulfillment Receipt

Customize the email sent to winning bidders after checkout.

Subject Line

  1. Go to Auctions > Fulfillment Receipt
  2. Enter a custom Subject Line
  3. Use template tags like for personalization
  4. Save changes

Email Content

  1. Go to Auctions > Fulfillment Receipt
  2. Use the rich text editor to customize the message
  3. Available template tags:
    • - Name of the won item
    • - Your organization name
  4. Save changes

Send Test Email

Preview your fulfillment receipt:

  1. Configure subject line and content
  2. Click Send Test E-mail
  3. Check your email to review the result
