SMS Broadcast Settings
The Settings tab for an SMS broadcast covers the metadata that controls how and when the broadcast is sent. SMS broadcasts have far fewer settings than email — there's no Subject, Preheader, or From-name (those are mail-only).
Campaign Name
Internal-only. Shown in the Broadcasts list and reporting; never delivered to recipients.
From Number
The phone number recipients see the message coming from. Leave blank to use your organization's default number. If your org has multiple registered numbers, pick one per broadcast.
WARNING
Compliance: opt-in is required. SMS recipients must have explicitly opted in to receive messages from your organization. Sending SMS to non-opted-in numbers violates carrier rules and CAN-SPAM/TCPA regulations and can get your sending number blocked.
Scheduling
- Send now — pushes to the queue immediately on send.
- Schedule — pick a date + time. The broadcast moves to Scheduled status and ships at that exact time.
Some carriers throttle bulk sends; very large SMS broadcasts may take several minutes to fully drain the queue even after sending starts.
Internal notes
Free-form notes for your team. Never delivered to recipients.
